The second edition of Nigerian Events Awards UK was held at the Hilton Docklands on Sunday, 25th May 2014. The awards project focuses on the entire events industry in the Nigerian community in the UK, as well as honouring those who have made their marks in the industry. The finalists were chosen by public votes. The event wwas organised by the duo of Vanessa Oluwole and Jumoke Ariyo, who are event planners/designers themselves. The themed event was attended by well meaning people in and outside the events industry in the UK.

Are you sure this was for the Nigerian Community in the UK. It looked was more of an English thing... there seems to be was no one nominated outside England.
